Announcement from the Kar Editorial Board
Our dear compatriots have taken to the streets to protest against the unusual economic conditions and the imposition of maximum pressure. These restrictions are due to the crippling sanctions of the United States and European governments, and due to the abuse of military-security rule along with the corrupt economic oligarchy that is being imposed on our people. However, unfortunately, little reflection of the actions of the left political forces inside and outside the country reaches the ears of the world.
As you know, the Kar.International site (https://kar-online.com/otherlanguages/) has been active for some time. For this reason, and with the aim of informing the media, associations and social organizations active in the fields of human rights and research abroad, and also to facilitate reporting on the active civil society movement in Iran, we are announcing the readiness of the International Kar site in service of the aforementioned groups.
The International Kar site is currently published in four languages: English, German, French, and Italian. We believe that this is the only Iranian left political media outlet that is publishing in other languages with such varieties.
We hope that friends and users of the Kar site will help us expand this initiative and effort as much as possible, so that the “International Kar” site can be used by non-Persian speakers and can also become a tool to strengthen the connections between the Iranian left movement and the global left.
Finally, we especially invite young Iranians and the youth of Iranian descent abroad, and the next generations of Iranian immigrants, to send us their materials and opinions for publication.
