The world is witness of the repressive measures by the security forces in the Islamic Republic of Iran against citizens who have raised their voice against the undemocratic and unfair course the Iranian presidential elections. We, some of the Iranian political organisations, urge the international community not to remain silent while a wave of suppression and state terror is spreading over Iran. We ask the world to defend the Iranian people whose voice is being suppressed by a dictatorial regime. We urge governments all over the world not to accept the outcome of the June 12 elections in Iran. We ask international organisations to conduct an independent investigation of the Iranian elections. We alert the world’s public opinion about the discrepancy between the official results of the elections and the polls before the elections, even the poll results published by supporters of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. We ask statesmen of other countries to support the request for repeating the elections under international observation, a demand put forward by the Iranian opposition. If the Iranian regime disregards this request, Ahmadinejad must not be recognised as Iranian president. This man has not only challenged the international community during the last four years. He is also hated within Iran. Ahmadinejad has declared his victory, supported by Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while all evidence showed that Ahmadinejad was going to be ousted by Iranian voters. If the international community does not protest against the suppression of Iranian citizens, if the world accepts the affirmation of Ahmadinejad as Iranian president, tomorrow will be late to atone for this mistake. Support the protests by the Iranian people! Support the demand for an independent investigation of accusations on manipulations in the elections in Iran! Political and executive Bureau of OIPF-M
