We condemn Israel’s aggression on Iranian soil

Israel’s military action is a prelude to spreading the flames of war throughout the region!

Unfortunately, following the threats of the past few days, the Israeli government and its belligerent leadership have launched a unilateral military attack on our country. These attacks have targeted residential areas in Tehran and military and nuclear sites. While the negotiations between Iran and the United States had entered their critical technical stages and evidence indicated that the two countries were approaching the possibility of an agreement, Israel’s action was effectively a political coup against the diplomatic efforts of its closest ally. Netanyahu and the Israeli regime, which has become increasingly isolated and criticized even by its closest allies for its crimes in Gaza, need another full-scale war to survive, and its target is not only Iran. By resolving the differences between Iran and the Arab countries of the region, Netanyahu will now spread the flames of war throughout the Middle East.

We express our deep disgust and strongly condemn this unprovoked Israeli military action. These attacks are a clear violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations. We call on the Security Council and all countries of the world to use all available means to thwart this plot against Iran’s territorial integrity as soon as possible. Failure to respond decisively to this incident could have irreparable consequences for regional and global peace and stability.

In our organization’s view, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s insistence on developing its nuclear program and enriching it beyond the limits required for peaceful scientific and industrial use has always been questionable. Therefore, we have welcomed face-to-face negotiations to reach a mutually acceptable agreement to resolve the nuclear dispute. The continuation of these conditions and the lack of cooperation with international institutions overseeing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty have been exploited for crippling sanctions and now by the occupying Israeli regime as a trigger for a devastating war on the toilers of our homeland.

Our organization has long warned of the danger of a major regional conflict. Now, given the possibility of an uncontrolled spread of this war, we hope that necessary national and international measures will be taken to protect the security and health of our compatriots and the country’s strategic services.
